Birthday with LEGOLAND

LEGOLAND Malaysia first open on the 22nd of Sept 2012 at Johor Baru. Not very much the fans of Lego, so didnt have the urge to go.
Until one day when Micheal told me he wanted to bring me there for my birthday.
My first impression for this was like;
"Huh, Legoland? Got things to play meh??! O.o"

Cause, for me, Legoland is very much for kids. And imagine lining up for those rides together with kids, it would very much be so akward!!
But STILL! I still "on" for it cause its the very first couple trip with him. And its my birthday trip, so I don't have to pay for ANYTHING! So why not??!

He basically plan EVERYTHING! I just sit there, goyang kaki and wait for him to tell me what's next! So sweet of him right. But things don't turn out as we planned.

In order to save the time for traveling, he decided to take the midnight express bus. Here's what happen.

DAY 1 - 12.01.2014

Departed at 12.30am at TBS Terminal to Johor Bahru.
Estimated time to reach at Johor Bahru is is 5.30am (as stated on their website)
Due to me who is a picky-sleeper, I'm not able to sleep well on the bus. I keep waking up whenever the bus stop to drop down passenger that stops halfway.
Then, by 3.30am, the bus stop at one of the Johor Bahru station where almost half of the people in the bus got down. As we couldn't see the name of the station, we did not get down.
And only after that, we realize we had MISS THE STOP!!!
And the next stop is Singapore Custom!!!
We quickly got down at the custom and tried to find a taxi to get us back to the previous stop. But its 3.30am in the morning, and there is no taxi around the Custom.
No choice, so we walked by the highway to see if we are able to stop at vehicles and perhaps, some taxi who drives at night. We were lucky enough to get a taxi and took us back to the previous bus stop where Micheal's uncle is going to fetch us there is the morning.

We reached the previous station, named Terminal Larkin (there is no signboard at the station!!!) and got ourselves a table at the McDonalds nearby. At that time being, I was annoyed by him, cause he not only take away my sleep time (which is a no-no) but also makes me walked sooooooo far in the middle of the night. But I know is not his fault at all. Who knows the bus reaches the destination 2 hour earlier than expected time??!!!

I try my best to fall asleep at the tables in McD, while he finds his own sweet time with games in his phone till about 7am. I did some homework too on the places that we MUST go in JB, so we decided to have breakfast at one of the places that is reachable within 30 minutes walk. Yeah, this is the disadvantages of traveling without car.

I forget the name of this restaurant actually, but they serve very nice and healthy clear soup noodles with a lot of stuff in it. It costs us RM 7 for a medium bowl of noodles, RM 5 for a small bowl and RM 9 for a large one.
We chill here till about 8+ to 9 and his uncle comes to fetch us to LEGOLAND!!!
At this time being, I'm still very sleepy due to the lack of sleep. In the future, I will definitely say NO to traveling in midnight.

LEGOLAND opens at 10am, and we are already there at 9+. So we just walk around after we bought the ticket. For Lego lovers, this is a place where you should go. You will be amazed by their decoration!

The entrance fees that caused us RM150 per person, which covers only the Theme Park and Water Park and also a RM10 food voucher. Not gonna come here again until my future daughter and son is old enough to play here. Its definitely not worth it for me.

LEGOLAND Hotel! If you are able to, it would be more worth to buy their package that comes with the hotel stay.

Even their toilet door is decorated with Lego wallpaper.

Selfie before going in. Our eyes look so small, the results of lack of sleep.

A must-take photo at the entrance. Failed picture, the passerby cameraman don't know how to take picture.

We went to the Theme Park first, even though the people there ask us to play the Water Park first due to the chances of rain. Cause we do not want to get ourselves sweaty again after bathing.

For me, the LEGOLAND concept is more or less the same as Universal Studio. But one thing is only 40% of the rides we adults can play. Others are all in mini size.

While on one of the rides. Its like a spinning tower where we are able to view the whole LEGOLAND.

After that we went to the Water Park. One thing I don't like about their concept is that they have border between the Water Park and the Theme Park. And you couldn't transfer your locker from the Theme Park to the Water Park. So to save money on locker (which cost RM20 per locker), we need to walk in and out to change and bath and everything.

Us after Water Park. Both of us got a little sun burn. But for me its still okay cause I applied lots of moisturizer after that.

His uncle came and fetch us after that. We went dinner then we stay over night at his uncle house.
Nothing much on first day, and basically its all about LEGOLAND.

Day 2 - 13.01.14

His uncle and aunty got a lunch appointment at KL at 11am, so they needs to leave the house at 6.30am. They leave means we needs to leave too.

While waiting for all the other to shops to open, we just hang around at McD, waiting for their McCafe to open too.
Selfie in the morning is also a no-no, especially when u have to wake up at 5.30am and do not have enough sleep.

We basically had nothing to do on the 2nd day, so we just take bus, walk around town and eat.

While waiting for bus to take us back KL at 4pm.

This marks the end of the trip. Even though tired and not very happy at first, but I did enjoy spending time with this guy. Thanks for everything!

Kok Hou & Peng Chung Birthday at Italianesse

Yes, it is finally the birthday of the only boy in the group. This year round, no club for them. Simply because Peng Chung is flying off to KK for some time to look after the new branch of his company there. Not sure when will he be coming back, but yet, we will still miss him.

We had dinner at Italiannese, The Gardens as the birthday boys want to have Italian food.
Since we have a group of 9 person, so we order food in a large portion and share among ourselves. It is definitely cheaper compare to ordering a dish per person.

Smoked Chicken Pizza with Beans. Not very nice. The basil leaves smell is too strong that it covers up the other smell.

Mussels with White Wine & Lemon. Thumbs up for this dishes.

Stuffed Mushroom with Cheese. Very nice too. Will learn to make this some day.

We eat and chit chat throughout the dinner. Really enjoy spending time with them. We don't meet often, but yet still remain the friendship between us. Able to share anything and everything between us. Feels great to have them.

After dinner, its birthday cake and candles blowing ceremony for the birthday. Purposely bought these relight candle during shopping at Paradigm Mall last Sunday. Able to surprise the birthday boys a little. They have a "tough" time blowing off the candles.

Happy Birthday guys! Stay young and energetic as always. All the best in work!

Yeah, group photo, a must! Hope this numbers of people remains and don't get lesser. Friendship forever!!

Sneak Peak of those who attended!! Thanks for coming!!

Sunway Lagoon Halloween Nights of Fright

For the first time in my life, I celebrated Halloween in Malaysia!

Saw this logo on MyDeals and the tickets is selling for RM48 per person. Was told about this by boyfie beforehand too and though that this would be something new to try on.
The theme park was opened only on selected days of the month in conjunction with Halloween. Due to the ticket price, me and boyfie didnt want to spend on it.
But we were lucky enough to get free ticket on the very last day of the park. Thanks Edwin on this!

Posing with the entrance tickets, as a proof we really went there! XD

At one of the theme park. The whole theme park was decorated to be Halloween night and ti was totally different from the theme park we saw in the day.

Pumpkins! What they usually have during Halloween.

Those so called "GHOST" was loitering around the theme park. Scaring people & taking pictures was most probably their job scope.
Honey with The Joker. The guy in Batman (I guess, dont really remember where is he from)

The Twin Sisters. They were just sitting quietly in the dark place and when people takes their picture of takes picture with them, they will just stare at the people. This is just so spooky.

Some of the decoration in the theme park. Tomb all around. They even make the theme park look misty. Brilliant idea!

The best picture of me for the night. This guy is from Scary Movie. But i dont remember his name. He does look cute. XD

Bii says this picture would be very nice if its not blur. So still posted this.

This is The Mummy I guess.

The Scarecrow

Another not-blurred picture.

Dont know who is he. XD

Those ghost is actually not that scary if they wouldnt hide in a corner and jump scared people. 1 girl got scared and fell down. And she cried. Was actually felt pity for that girl.

Like a BOSS

Finally, get to take picture with. Was really amused by their make up. Just so real.

Dont know where is this character from too. But she does look cute. XD

The party ended at 10.30pm. Everyone rushed to go home and caused a massive jam. Plus, One Republic concert was held on the same day too.
So we decided to chill a while in the mall while waiting for the jam to clear up.

Even though its Dry Park, but we do look wet as it is drizzling throughout the party and we ran here and there.

This one clearly sees us in wet look.

End of the day. Great to be able to try something new in life. Halloween party + Horror movie had never been my favourite all this while. Reason being, I dont have balls. Hahaha.
But Bii actually encouraged me to overcome this fear.
Its really great to have him around.

K Session @ MUSE Box KTV

All of us have been very busy after graduating from college or uni and seldom have times to gather. The most is just hangout per week...and seldom even not once a week. So we always grab any opportunity that we are able to gather.

Saw this coupon on MyDeals about 240 minutes K session at MUSE Box KTV for only RM 8 per person. Never heard of this place before but decided to give it a try since its so cheap. Bought the deal for 6 person, as our gang now only left 6 people after the other 2 left the group due to some circumstances.

Only realize after buying the coupon that the time is from 10pm to 2am!! Was a year back ever since we sing k till late midnight.

Peng Chung recording Sharon & Kok Hou's singing

2 of them, really are from different era. Singing really old oldies which our grandma and grandpa generation listen to.

A recording of the oldies that 2 of them sings. Even Kok Hou sound so old.

Me & Jason

With Peng Chung...he just laser his eyes. No more specs for him anymore!!

Didnt really take much picture. Was busy singing whole night. 240 minutes really not enough for us.

Can really try to sing in this KTV. Is located at Bangsar, former location for Mist Club. Charges are counted per room. You can bring your own food too, but charges are also applies.
