First Layover - Xi' An Day 1

Budget airline does not have as much layover as commercial airline.

So when you get layover, its like having a jackpot. 

Was lucky enough to be able to layover in Xi'An on the 4th month of flying. 

Plus, am flying with my batchmate, Joe!!!!

Its always nice to have a set of nice crew to fly with. 

Long flight feels like short flight.

Reached Xi' An and checked in to the hotel past midnight.

Did not go elsewhere. 

Head to the hotel breakfast in the morning.

All of the crew went to Xi'An before except for me. 

So they are not planning to go to Terracotta

 Captain Davis says this is a must take picture for all the new crew.

He says this would be the nearest Terracotta. 

 Saw this signboard outside the lift. 

What's with the "No Slapping"???

 Forget what place is this. 

But it was near the Bell Tower. 

Nicki was looking for a shop nearby to get her Pejoy snack. 

 One of their street food, 桂花糕.

2nd nearest Terracotta. Hahaha

 This is Bell Tower (钟楼)

Didnt got the chance to go in.

Joe & Nicki have been here.

Gonna come here next time with Mike and we're gonna explore Xi'An together!!!!

After about 1++ hour walk, finally found the place Nicki is looking for. 

If I'm not mistaken is called Vanguard.

Its a small mart that sell all China snacks. 

Nicki bought a whole box of her Pejoy to bring back Malaysia. 

Went back hotel after that to put our stuff as it is too many to carry around.

After chilling a while, we went out again to another mall to continue shopping. 

For me, its quite a waste.

People went Xi'An to explore.

But I came here to shop for food and snack. 

Wanda Dept Store.

A slightly bigger store. 

Cont to shop till we drop.

Later after that, we had dinner at Hai Di Lao (海底捞)

Its a steamboat.

Its was so expensive in Singapore that is cost 2 people $200!

While in Xi'An, it only cost all of us $16 each.

And we ordered almost everything.

Whatever we can find in the menu.

Which is very worth.

This set of crew is not so aggresive.

We went back hotel after dinner.

Yeah, for those beer lover.

Beer in Xi'An is also very cheap and nice.

You can try their local beer.

Its called 青岛.

We bought some beer and had some poker game in the room.

Before everyone get some rest in their own room.

Break my own record.

Drank 2 cans of Asahi

2 cocktail

3 glass of white wine

And I'm still alive!!!

Hahahaha

Father's Day in Singaland

Been in this new company for half a year now

Treated me not bad so far

Got off days on Mother's day, gave me the chance to fly back to KL to surprise my mum

Got off days on Father's Day too, gave me the chance to bring my family around Singapore

They were here in Singapore for some church business

Might as well celebrate Father's Day here too

Nah Daddy, not tat I dun wanna surprise u k, its just coincidentally come Singapore...so decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone...still love u tho...<3 i="">

They drove here

After checking in, I bring them to Bugis Street

To be honest, I don't know where to bring them in Singapore

Me myself never explore the country that I had stayed for half a year

How you expect me to bring you around

SORRY!!!!

They are all so camera sensitive

Whenever there is a sign of camera, they are sure to show up in the small little rectangular screen

My ma ma & aunt.

I usually call her "Gu Gu"

Which means “姑姑” in mandarin

I'm much more closer to both of my aunties.

Was grown up together with them

When they know my parents are coming over to Singapore to meet me, they wanted to join too!

My another aunt

Usually call her “姑姐”

I'm closer to her compare to Gu Gu

Ever since Popo passed away, she is staying alone

She is also one tough iron lady..haha

Told you they are super sensitive to camera!

We were waiting for the traffic light to turn green before we were able to cross the road

No idea what we were talking about that time

But it was one funny one

I miss those laughter sometimes

If they can just remain humorous all the time than the usual kinda annoying suspection

We hang out around Bugis until Daddy & Mummy went to their church business

Then we meet up again for dinner

Its the Father's Day dinner

Was busy eating and I actually forget to capture the dinner memories

But its ok, it be saved in the brain local disc W then.

Decided to have a tour at the Merlion after that. 

Pictures were blur

But memories were fresh

Love all those laughter though...

Unfortunately, Singapore is preparing for their National Day.

The Merlion Park were closed for the fireworks installation.

So we en route to the Gardens by the Bay instead

They say we have to take picture wherever we go

To keep as memories

 Daddy & Mummy

Still sweet and lovely

Wonder if mine would be like them too

 People says we look alike

Which also means we look alot like Popo

With Marina Bay Sands behind

 Sister for life

She will be going back to US soon

Gonna miss her there

Looks more and more alike to my dad now

The style

Even the body size

Like father like son

I spent the night with them in the hotel

Its actually not a hotel

Its a hostel

They wanna stay altogether in one room

But budget-ly

Which is impossible

So I got them a hostel instead

Like a capsule one

One good experience though

Still not giving up on Merlion Park

Tried our luck there again

And SUCCEED!!!!!!

The 3 siblings!!

Went for lunch after that

Still long before they need to head back to KL

Dad suggest that we go to the Botanical Garden

Waste all the time walking

But didn't get to see any attractions at all

But its okay

Wouldn't want to go back there

We walk till its time to bid goodbye

Till we meet again!!

Universal Studio Singapore

Been here in Singapore for almost half a year

And its finally the boyfie's turn to visit me

Its always been me who went back KL to see him

Finally he decided to come

And he has never been to Singapore's Universal Studio yet

He was here in Singapore for 4d3n

Did not go anywhere on the first day

I was on standby from 3pm to 9pm

So lucky that I didnt get called up

If not I dont even know how is he going to survive without me at home

On the second day, we went to USS

We had breakfast at home before heading out

Budget trip ma...have to save abit lo...hahaha

 Taken outside my condo's bus stop while waiting for the bus

 Decided to go with the couple shirt

Told him that it was kinda weird

As there is no Superman's ride in the theme park

But still wore it

Cause he really like it when it comes to couple tee

Reached there about 10.30am

As it was a Saturday, and in conjunction with the new Puss in Boots ride, it was abit crowded compared to 2 years ago when I first visited USS

 He says this is a "must-take" when it comes to USS

Surprisingly...most of the visitor today are all Indians

Which is somehow annoying

Yeap...picture with his idol...its a must tho

He says Fast & Furious 7 makes him drop tears

So...yeah...

 First ride of the day

The famous Transformer

Took us 60 minutes for our turn

But...who cares...its holiday man~~

Never get tired of his "so-many-pattern-post" when taking pictures

 This round Water Show was not as funny as I watched 2 years ago

Guess they were rushing out the scene due to the bad weather

Its getting gloomy and some of the rides had to force stop

I literally pushed his head into the screen to get this shot

Were sitting at the medium wet zone

But had already got wet by the sweat of lining up more than 30 minutes for every rides

We bought the ticket online and it comes with a free combo meal in Far Far Away Land

Its in conjunction with the new rides

Line up for more than 1 hour for that ride

And its only a less than 1 minutes ride

Finally, we were able to get someone to help us a picture

Able to finish up almost all the rides

And also the parade show and fireworks

Next target...Hong Kong Disneyland!!!
