Recently, Facebook is very popular with foods. You can always see on Facebook, the Top 10 Must Try Food in Penang, Melaka, Klang Valley and etc.
I spotted this a few weeks ago...
Just in case some of you doesn't understand Chinese, this is what it writes.
"Top 10 Affordable Buffets in KL"
"Top 10 Affordable Buffets in KL"
So me Micheal decided to have a try one by one. Out of the 10 recommended, we have tried out only one. And decided try it out on the 15th of every month.
Coincidentally, one of his friends is celebrating her 21st birthday on the date we planned to try the food out. So to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, we recommend this place.
We book the table for 10 of us and reach there at 7pm. Though that it is still early which explains the number of guest in the restaurant, but the crowd didn't even added up to what we expect from a Top 10 listed restaurant.
The restaurant is divided into 3 sections.
1. Ala Cart section
2. Buffet section
3. Bar section (with only 1 bar table)
Yeah, just like what you see, RM 35+ buffet. And there is actually 2 types of buffet.
RM 35+ buffet only comprises of PORK. All parts of pork. RM 49+ buffet had lamb, beef, crab, and fish besides pork.
But because there are some who don't eat pork, so we ordered the RM 35+ buffet.
They have to order the same type of buffet for the same table. No mixing allowed. Besides BBQ, there is also the mini steamboat.
I forgot to take pictures as I was kinda hungry. All these was taken from Google, so credit to those who shared.
Our grill bar was not as clean as this. So we don't really grilled. If I'm not mistaken, we only refilled the pork like twice, but non-stop for the steamboat.
And our steamboat only contain mushroom, cabbage, pork ball and also crab stick. All these definitely doesn't worth RM 35+.
Quite a disappointment as we expect much from a Top 10 listed restaurant.
Wonder how they got into the TOP 10 list when Jogoya don't even get a place.
Well, maybe not everyone have the same taste bud, but you can give it a try. You will need to make a reservation here at their Facebook.
Will keep you guys posted on the next buffet restaurant that I will be trying on the 15th next month.
Haha.. I remember the top 10 list is for best buffet in KL under RM60. Jogoya is in a total different category.
ReplyDeleteWent to 8 of the 10 listed and I still find Kanpai as one of the best. Been there 3x since and had really enjoyed the food. The 1st visit was really packed and had to wait 30mins for a table. We made reservation for 2nd visit and the restaurant was also packed when we arrived. We had to wait for a few mins to have our reserved table cleaned. The 3rd visit was on a weekday and the atmosphere was more relaxed and less crowded.
