Mother's Day falls on the 2nd week of May every month. This is a general knowledge that everyone should have know. But not my brilliant sister.
She works as a nurse. Therefore, its quite hard to plan something together due to her nature of work. She usually only gets her schedule of the week a week before and most of the time, couldn't be changed (according to her).
So, she actually forgets about Mother's Day and had to work on that day. She even blames me for not informing her earlier. ( I was like wtf, why blaming me?? You should have know it yourself)
So we had to postponed to another week so that we had enough time for her to apply leave. Hate this fact where every time, the WHOLE family needs to plan everything according to her schedule and she is ALWAYS ALWAYS not willing to spend her leave on us. She says it is not appropriate for a nurse to always take leave. (wtf)
As the King & Queen wants to try on something else as we always had Japanese buffet during this big days. So we decided to go for seafood and The King choose this restaurant.
Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant at Teluk Gong, Klang.
They have this very comfortable and beautiful ambiance.
Their sittings were design like a small hut. And each table is under one roof. For me, it is quite comfortable as you can have your own privacy and "alone" time while eating with no one looking at you when you lick you thumbs.
From the review I got online, they were famous with their Toddy aka Palm Wine. We ordered 1 bottle and even "tapao-ed" 1 bottle home.
This is how it looks like. It contains alcohol and some baker even used this to make bread. According to The Queen, they contained yeast.
Butter Prawn - RM 29
Super delicious and crunchy that you can even eat without removing the shell.
Vegetable - RM 12
Kam Heong Kepah - RM 15
Their kam heong style is really kam heong. Thumbs up
Sweet & Sour Crab - RM 35/KG
This is soooo affordable. We actually asked for Sour & Spicy Crab, but it came Sweet & Sour.
We didn't have time to bother but just finish it all.
Kam Heong Lala - RM 15
We added this last minute. So couldn't take any picture as my hands were dirty.
With 6% government tax, we only ate a total of RM 176.20. Never in my life pay less than RM 200 for seafood dinner. I remember once I had seafood dinner in KK and it cost 12 of us almost 1k for the dinner. Luckily our boss is there to back us up as it was a work trip.
Do have a try there those seafood lovers out there. It would definitely worth a try.
