Last year, we went to Singapore trip together. Not full attendance, but we do enjoy the time together.
Since after that, we promise to have a trip together at least ONCE a year.
But don't know why, this year everyone seems to be very busy.
It's either we don't get to buy cheap air ticket, or is either the timing is not suitable.
In the end, we only manage to have one day trip. *super sad*
Planning since June, our Melaka 1 day trip had been postponed and postponed and postponed.
Finally a date was fixed at August.
This time, with full attendance!!! Woohoo...super excited...cause we always never have full attendance during trip.
But things always don't get perfect till the end. Ashley falls sick on the day before the trip and was not able to attend. So in the end, left the 6 of us to continue with the trip.
Disappointed of course, but nothing we can do.
Frankly speaking, she's been changing a lot since she is together with her current boyfriend, Eddie.
Hope she won't forget about us, the gang that used to hangout a lot since 2 years back.
First of all, have to thanks Alex for driving your Alphard so that it can fit all of us.
Save time, save petrol and also increase bonding.
The car seats were so comfy that I slept throughout the entire way there.
There is also a mini DVD player in the car, so the other were quite busy watching DVD.
Stupid Bii...don't want let me sleep. Then keep asking me to take picture.
But still love his silly look. The clown that always try his very best to make me laugh.
Because we had a quite full breakfast, so our first stop was the Melaka's famous landmark. Forget what its name, but its quite popular as all the tourists would definitely come here when they are in Melaka.
See the crowd?? A must go place when you are in Melaka.
Now I know the name. Christ Church of Melaka
Then we are finally getting hungry, so we walked over Jonker Street to have lunch. We really come Melaka for food trip as we ate the entire trip. Diet plan seriously failed.
Melaka's famous Chicken Rice Ball. But this restaurant does not have the rice ball, so we just had normal rice. I found no difference between the rice ball and also normal rice. Its still rice anyway. Why bother about the shape??
Nice and affordable food. Only cost less than RM60 for the meal of the 6 of us.
Then we continue our journey and walk around Jonker Street. Its similar with the normal pasar malam in KL but with slightly more choices of things and slightly cheaper.
We then stop by to have Melaka's famous cendol and also durian puff. I'm the only one in the group that is not fond of durian. So the others are trying their very best to burp on me after eating the durian puff. So smelly that I can suffocate to death. Nah, just joking.
Showing happy face after having durian puff and burping on me.
Having ice cool cendol to chill ourself up despite the super hot weather. This is definitely nicer than the durian puff.
We went on for other tourist attractions after that but did not manage to take picture. The weather is super hot that I am only busy fanning myself with the RM2 mini fan I bought at Jonker Street.
Is near evening and all of us are craving for dessert and also cool air. So in order to save parking and also time to find another new parking after that, we walk 2km to Nadeje Café for their famous layer cakes.
We ordered 5 cakes for the 6 of us. The environment at the café is just so comfy and cooling that we don't even want to leave after finishing the cakes. We hang around for almost an hour before we walk back to our car and drove for dinner.
We realized that we actually walked a big round when getting there cause we took a wrong turning or something. The distance seems to be shorter when we walk back.
We took our car and drove to dinner at the famous Capitol Satay Celup. Non of us had try it before. Its like lok lok that you eat at lok lok street but this time, you dip them in satay sauce.
Reach the restaurant at about 5pm if I'm not mistaken and there is already long queue outside the restaurant. But we are all lazy to go down and line up. So we decided to take turns to line up while the other stay and wait in the car.
This is the shop's name.
First volunteer to get down and line up. Super hot out there.
Second volunteer. He super chill. Only concentrate on his phone.
Me and Bii is the 3rd volunteer to get down and line up. Able to get all of us a table after that.
Each stick cost RM0.90. You can take as many as you want.
The satay sauce.
Time for dinner!!! Frankly speaking, really not that nice. Not a fans of satay. So find it weird. But not sure about others. This restaurant have been here for the 4th generation. There must be a reason why it is so famous.
Headed back after that. Wonderful trip with them. Hope to gather again in our year end trip to Cherating. Pray hard for its success!!
