Empire Damansara @ Boat Noodles

Recently, a few of my Insta friends have posted up pictures of very small portion of dinner/lunch otheir Instagram

And Friday was normally my dating day with the Baby Hippo. Didn't know where to hang out, he brought me to have a try at this place.

It's pork free as they only serve beef and also chicken glass noodle.
Served in very small portion, just like how it did in Bangkok, the glass noodle is available in dry and also soup.
You can order the noodles as much as you like until you are full!!

The restaurant is small, but is always pack and full with customers. I even heard the customer sitting next to our table that she has been here for more than 3 times!
And people are already waiting outside the restaurant for a place when it is only 6.30pm.

Their menu is pretty simple, as they only have 2 types of noodles which is cooked in 2 variation - Soup & Dry.
Me personally prefer the Soup noodle as I find it more juicy compared with the dry ones.

Baby Hippo waiting patiently for the food. His last meal was at 10am that day. So he says he is like puasa now...hahaha

We ordered 8 bowls during the first round - 4 soup 4 dry.

As you can see, the portion is really really small that you can even finish it up in 2 bite. And because it is so small in portion, we finish the first round quite fast and add on another 4 bowl.

Baby Hippo was actually still hungry after finishing the 2nd round but didn't order for the 3rd round.
He says it is not worth it. He rather have some snack after that.
But for me, I think its okay.
Affordable, nice and interesting!

In total. we ate 12 bowls!! Only reach the "Almost There" rank. Will work harder next time. And all these cost only RM 28.40 and they do not charge us 10% and  also 6%!! Good right??!

Since we ate too full, so we decided to walked around. This is my first time here at Empire Mall, but seriously, nothing much. I think this is just a makan place. There is nothing much besides restaurant, cafe and also coffee shop.

They kinda follow the concept in Publika. Never went to Publika before, so I'm not sure how those umbrellas in Publika looks like.

Selfie and couple pic is a must! Hhahaha.

Do have a try at the Boat Noodles if you have not try it out yet.
They have a new opening at Kuchai Lama. So you don't have to go so far anymore just to try them.
